Random Acts Of Kindness

Like most people I have a daily ritual. My daily ritual before hitting the streets with deliveries and pickups consists of visiting the neighbourhood Starbucks or Tim Hortons for my cup of java. This one day while exercising this ritual
something happened to me, something completely random and unexpected.

A fellow which had done some renovations on my house earlier that year had noticed me in the drive through lineup behind him. I never noticed him until later. When I got up to the window to pay for my coffee the cashier smilingly
mentioned that the car in front of me had already payed for it.

I was at first surprised and yes even a little suspicious, I mean who does things like this. Â At first It made me reflect on how we get so involved with our own lives that we lose considerations of those around us.

In the end, this small token of kindness made my entire day. It was such a great feeling to receive an unexpected gift.
I remember mentioning it in conversations throughout the day.

Iâ..ve always wanted to own and run the kind of business that didn’t do things traditionally. The kind of business that was reputation based and referral driven. That’s when I decided to add a new twist to my daily ritual and incorporate
acts of kindness into my daily advertising and awareness campaign.

So if you happen to find yourself in a drive through behind one of our delivery vans don’t be surprised if your coffee is on us.
